Exhibits
The Morse Museum features ten rooms filled with permanent exhibits that tell the stories of the people and the town of Morse through artifacts and historical documents. There are over 14,000 artifacts and archival materials in the museum collection.
The People of Morse Room
The People of Morse Room is dedicated to telling the stories of the people of Morse and area via artifacts and historical documents.

•The Militaria & Service Organizations Exhibit
•The monthly Temporary Exhibits
Classroom
Step back into time in the 1913 classroom and get a sense of what it was like to attend school here.
Main Features:
•The many graduation and class photos from the 1920’s through to the mid 2000’s
•The world maps from days gone by
•The various fossils and Native artifacts
Town History Room
Dedicated to telling the story of the town and showcasing artifacts from the various time periods of its history. From its humble beginnings in the late 1800's to its heyday in the early 1900's and up to the modern day.
Main Features:
•Early photographs of the town
•The town switchboard
•The General Store Exhibit
•The original town jail and RCMP artifacts
•Artifacts from the town hall and movie theatre
•Items and photos of the various businesses that have and still call Morse Home- including the Elkhorn Hotel
Homestead Room
The Homestead Room is dedicated to the settlement of the local area and the Province.
Main Features:
•The various firearms
•The Ernest Grossehmig Exhibits
•The sitting/drawing room exhibit – including the German Bible
•The turn of the century house exhibit
Victorian Era Parlour
Our beautiful Victorian Era Parlour is a staple of the Morse Museum. Guests are welcome to come, sit and enjoy a coffee or tea and homemade treats. The parlour is home to many museum events and functions such as tea parties, luncheons, etc. The parlour is the part of the facility that is available for rent.

Agricultural Exhibit
The major industry in the Morse and surrounding area is that of Agriculture and the museum features an extensive collection of agricultural artifacts.

•Hand tools, saddles, and seed grain variety information
Medical Room
The Medical Room is dedicated to all those from the Morse area that have served in the medical field. While Morse does not have a hospital, there is in the nearby town of Herbert. Many of those who work/ worked in the medical field worked there.

•Mural to the local Nurses
•Optometrist chair and equipment
•Dentists Chair
•50’s Dental X-Ray Chair
•Surgeons table and tools
•Early nurses station
Buggy Room
The Buggy Room is dedicated to showcasing life on the prairies around the turn of the century. This room features a beautiful set of wall murals that show settler life on the prairies .

•The blacksmiths shop exhibit
50's Room
Step back in time to the 1950’s, this exhibit features a 50’s style kitchen and living room.
Main Features:
•50’s era kitchen with appliances
•Black and white TV/ early TV
•50’s era furniture and toys
Laundry Room
Learn how they did laundry through history. This room is a student favorite during our school tours (they get to wash a sock).
