In the late 1800’s the Prairies were a very different place. Few towns, cities or people could be found among the prairie landscape. The brave, the young, the adventurous came from all over the world to ‘settle the west’. Homesteads began springing up, towns were formed and the railroad came. Harry Richardson was one such soul who came to what was then the Northwest Territories but what we now call, Saskatchewan.
